Sara Hillard

Sara is a coach of the Family Negotiation Moot.

Sara works for Legal Aid B.C. at the Parents Legal centre, where she practices child protection and family law.

Sara was born and raised in Kamloops. She attended Thompson Rivers University for both her Bachelor of Arts degree and her Juris Doctor. During her studies, Sara was an active member in the Indigenous Law Students Association and participated in the Kawaskimhon National Aboriginal Moot in Winnipeg. Sara also worked at the TRU Legal Clinic during her last year of law school, where she gained hands-on experience working in the legal field and serving the Kamloops community. Sara is a current member of the CBA Kamloops Women’s Lawyer Forum.

Outside of work, you might find Sara golfing (or at least trying to), hiking up a mountain or going on adventures with her husband, daughter and labradoodle.
