Coyote Den

Coyote Den, Sk̓elepéllcw in Secwepemctsín, is TRU’s newest student residence, opened in November 2023.

Each unit in this latest development comes complete with its own private entrance and private washroom with shower, toilet and sink.

Suites are furnished with a bed, desk, study chair, closet and dresser, and include a kitchenette with a two-burner cooktop, apartment-sized fridge, sink and microwave. Each unit also has individually controlled heating and air conditioning.

The building features outstanding views of the North Thompson River and mountain vistas. A 40-unit secure bike storage will also be part of the new development, as well as paid onsite parking and two EV charging stations. Each floor features a common space, including a common kitchen, TV room, laundry room and a study zone.

In order to apply for housing a non-refundable $100 application fee is required.Upon acceptance a $250 security deposit will be due. This deposit will be fully refundable after move out as long as your account is paid up to date and room is left clean and undamaged.All rates include a $60 mandatory residence life activity fee that is non-refundable.

If you are unable to see “TRU East Village-Dalgleish” please notify the Residence and we will assist you in selecting the proper payee.

Please do not use the payee listed as “TRU RESIDENCE AND CONFERENCE CENTRE” or “THOMPSON RIVERS UNIVERSITY” or “TRU East Village”.

To identify your payment, you will be prompted to type in your Account Number which is located on the home page of your My Housing Portal. This is a six or seven digit account number. You can also find this number in the top right hand corner of your invoice.
