The "Experience More" initiative is designed to help you enhance your skill set through real-world experience, giving you a competitive edge in the job market. You'll have the chance to work remotely on meaningful projects that align with your field of study, providing an excellent opportunity to start building your professional portfolio before you graduate.
Program Details
Volunteer Opportunities
Engage in real-time projects with organizations across Canada, gaining hands-on experience in your area of study.
Remote Work
All projects are conducted remotely, allowing you to collaborate with Canadian organizations no matter where you are.
Real Projects
These volunteer opportunities are real, impactful, and valuable for building your professional portfolio. Some organizations may even offer incentives for your work.
Commitment
Up to 3 hours per week for 10-12 weeks, starting in October.
Limited Spots
Only 20 students will be selected, based on a first-come, first-served basis.
Non-Credit, No Cost
This is a non-credit, no-cost initiative designed to provide practical experience outside the classroom.

To secure your spot in the "Experience More" program, please email Larry Iles, the Experiential Learning Coordinator, at liles@tru.ca by 4:00 PM on September 27. Be sure to mention your interest in the Experience More Program in your email.

Program Details
Collaborative Projects
Your club can work together on impactful projects with organizations across Canada, gaining valuable experience that reflects your group’s shared goals. Your club’s involvement in these projects will provide fantastic opportunities to build both individual and collective professional portfolios. Some organizations may even offer incentives for your work.
Remote Engagement
All volunteer work is done remotely, making it easy for your club to participate, no matter the location of your members.
Flexible Commitment
Projects require up to 3 hours of work per week, spread over 10-12 weeks starting in October.

Students who participate in the Experience More programs earn badges that represent their experiential learning work.
How does Experiential Learning help you?
